Mission

Darlene’s mission is to provide a space where we can slow down, restore balance, and reconnect with our true nature. Through teaching, guiding, and practical application of ancient wisdom, she leads groups and individuals to develop a deeper sense of self-awareness, true nourishment and create healthier habits to integrate a more holistic way of living.

 

In today’s busy world, it is very easy to lose sight of what is truly important. Our health and happiness! Our nervous systems are constantly running on overdrive causing all sorts of problems from anxiety, depression even insomnia which creates a disconnect from our true nature. This disconnection from ourselves and others has led to increased levels of stress, which can have a profound negative impact on our physical and mental health. By reconnecting with our true nature, we can begin to integrate the mind, body, and spirit. This process of self-awareness leads to a deeper understanding of who we are and what we need to do to live a happier and healthier life. When this happens, we are able to develop more meaningful relationships with others, which can lead to increased levels of happiness, satisfaction, and success in life.

Darlene is a certified yoga health coach and herbalist. She also holds a degree from the Culinary School of the Arts of Le Cordon Bleu and Johnson Wales University.

Her undeniable love of cooking, working with herbs and spices, functional food, and all things healthy has crafted her career today. Her platform focuses on integrating cultural foods, building like-minded communities, and using food as medicine through integrating Ayurveda with modern-day lifestyles.

 

Darlene is a firm believer in the power of Ayurveda, an ancient holistic health system born in India that teaches food as medicine. Her driving force for sharing Ayurveda through her cooking skills stems from the most profound belief that the human body has the natural ability to heal and thrive without most pharmaceuticals given the proper nourishment and the right environment.

Darlene’s favorite activities are cooking, gardening, tennis, yoga, and learning about Ayurveda. She enjoys farmer’s markets, reading, spending time with close family and friends, and living a life of balance. Darlene’s passion lies in living in harmony, the magical weaving of the mystical and the root of all life on Earth.

The 12-Month Group Course

In Darlene’s BodyScape course you will experience the benefits of Ayurveda by developing healthier habits, daily routines and learn how to live in rhythm with the cycles of nature. You will get to experience better digestion, deeper more restful sleep, a stronger immune system and more energy to last throughout your day.

BodyScape is a guided 12 month online group course designed to teach you to properly nourish yourself and get to know your body from the inside out. So whether you’re a beginner or an experienced cook, you will have great fun while learning to cook delicious meals and virtually interact with other members in our live online guided cooking classes in the privacy of your own kitchen!

You will be virtually guided by me in your kitchen as we prepare, cook, and share meals together while learning about seasonal and cultural foods that heal.

BodyScape

The 12 Month Group Course

During your 12-month journey led by me you will experience the beauty and healing power of Ayurveda by establishing better habits with simple daily routines that will help you develop better digestion, deeper sleep, and more energy to last the entire day.

You will learn the importance of living in sync with the cycles of nature, body energetics and how to nourish and heal your body through the integration of the basic food principles of Ayurvedic cooking.

You will be virtually guided by me in your kitchen as we prepare, cook, and share meals together while learning about seasonal and cultural foods that heal.
